Last week, some Brooklyn police officers went above and beyond to help a young boy in need. A 9-year-old was running a lemonade stand when a couple of junior high kids biked by and robbed him of the $10 he had earned. The boy and his father called the police, asking for help if they had the time, but assured them it wasn’t urgent.
When the officers arrived, they didn’t just offer assistance—they took it a step further. One officer handed the boy $20 for a few cups of lemonade, and others chipped in as well. By the end of the day, the boy had $50—much more than he had before.
This simple act of kindness by the officers made a big difference and serves as a reminder of how small gestures can have a lasting impact.
