I’m always posting the good reviews, so I figured it was only fair to share one of the bad ones too.

This customer was originally unhappy with the job and left me a negative review. I’m not sharing this to take anything away from her original experience or pretend it didn’t happen. She wasn’t happy, and she had every right to let me know.

But this is also why I offer a 10-day warranty on my work.

She gave me the opportunity to come back, address her concerns, and make things right. After everything was resolved, she was kind enough to update her review.

I’ve never claimed to be perfect or the best. After nearly 30 years in this business, I can tell you that no matter how much experience you have or how hard you try, occasionally a job isn’t going to go exactly as planned.

What matters is what you do about it.

I’ll always do everything I reasonably can to give my customers the best possible outcome, and when there’s a problem, I want to know about it. Give me the opportunity to make it right.

Failed faux slate coating. The homeowner used a sealant that was recommended online, but it wasn’t the right product for this type of slate and wasn’t applied correctly. Over time, it broke down, caused uneven buildup, and trapped dirt in the surface.
We stripped the failed coating, deep cleaned the slate, and brought the natural finish back. Proper sealing and maintenance makes all the difference when it comes to keeping stone floors looking right long-term.
