"There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and, disinfection (e.g., with chlorine, bromine, and shock) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19."

We do not advocate breath holding in the pool. It can lead to unconsciousness and drowning. Having kids ask each other or challenging each other in breath holding (not in the pool please) has been a challenge for ages. So how long can you hold your breath?
