In the excitement of the upcoming election it’s important we remember what it’s really about. Helping people, that should be the focus. I believe actions speak louder than words. Every fur on this wall is a person helped, a voice heard, and action taken. Handled with respect and transparency. Trapping to me is about helping people, carrying on an American- family tradition, and catching memories along the way. This is one of the many skills God has blessed me with.

2023 UP North trapping trip🪤

Completed my Michigan Grand Slam by trapping every Legal furbearer in Michigan!!!
And a GIANT Michigan Bobcat!

All that being said, this trip wasn’t just about punching tags. As much as it was doing what you say you’re going to do. Making a promise to yourself and not taking no for an answer. Making solutions not excuses. Hundreds of hours of work, planning, building, and learning, went into this quest. And we did something worth remembering. Something that will hopefully someday inspire my children. Like photos of my grandfather and great grandfather did to me.

Successful upper Michigan fisher and martin scouting trip. 4 days until the Michigan season opens and it’s looking promising! We hope to punch some tags next week, completing the quest of trapping every furbearer in Michigan🔥🤘🏼

Many hours went into getting to this point. And we appreciate everyone who has helped along the way.

MI BOBCAT SEASON TAGGED OUT!!!! 🪤

Ken and I were blessed to be able to fill our tags this season.

A month of scouting and planning paid off.
We prayed that God would give us dirty hands and tight chains and he did. Beyond thankful to be able to harvest a piece of his beautiful creation.
