"Do I need to get my prenatal care through an obstetrician to give birth at Linden Tree Midwifery?"
The answer is no!
When you choose Linden Tree Midwifery, your prenatal care is provided by our midwives. We offer comprehensive prenatal care throughout your pregnancy, including regular prenatal visits, education, and personalized support as you prepare for birth.
We can order all of your routine prenatal labs, genetic screening (if desired), and ultrasounds, so there's no need to establish prenatal care with an obstetrician just to access these services.
One of the biggest differences our families notice is the experience of prenatal care. Appointments are about an hour long, giving you plenty of time to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and truly get to know your midwives. Rather than feeling rushed through a busy office, you'll be welcomed into a warm, comfortable environment where you can feel heard and supported.
Your care doesn't have to happen in a cold, clinical setting. We believe pregnancy is a normal, healthy life event that deserves thoughtful, relationship-centered care.
And because pregnancy is a family journey, your partner, children, and other loved ones are always welcome to join you at your appointments. We love getting to know the whole family and creating a space where everyone feels included as you prepare to welcome your newest little one.
If your pregnancy requires consultation with an obstetrician or maternal-fetal medicine specialist, we'll coordinate that care and collaborate with them while continuing to support you whenever it's appropriate.
