The intersection is open! And before noon!

From the DOT:

The CTH B / CTH AB Intersection along USH 51 is now open to traffic. There will still be construction crews finishing up miscellaneous work over the next couple weeks, so traffic control drums will be present in and around this intersection until all work is complete. US 51 will be closed at the County B/County AB intersection beginning Thursday, August 1. A detour will be signed utilizing WIS 138, WIS 14, and the Beltline. See the attached graphic for more information. The closure is expected to be in place until August 30.
If you need to stop into the District, you will have to approach from the North on County Road AB.

Please be informed that the US 51 construction project at the County B and County AB intersection will have a traffic switch expected to occur on Wednesday, June 12.

New traffic pattern:
• US 51 will be shifted onto the new pavement for both directions of traffic.
• County B will reopen
o Turning movements will be restricted at County B. Only right-in/right-out movements will be allowed.
• County AB will be closed to traffic.
o Local traffic will be maintained throughout, however, access from US 51 to County AB is restricted. The best way to access properties on County AB within the construction zone will be by approaching from the east.
