This past week, we officially said “I do”!

We’re incredibly grateful for the love, support, and well wishes we’ve received from this amazing community. Story City has been such a special place for us to build a business, raise our family, and now celebrate this next chapter.

We love our new kiosk, and our new kiosk loves the residents of Story City. It loves you all so much it decided to start jamming for you.

We’ve had a pep talk with it, and while we all love its musical talents, he needs to make sure he’s prioritizing taking credit card and cash payments so people can keep their cars looking fresh and clean.

If you’ve been by recently and haven’t been able to wash because it was practicing, swing back around. Both cash and card validators are re-calibrated and ready for your wash.

Sometimes it isn’t just about the clean.

Sometimes it’s the extra 5 minutes after a long day of work so you can reset before going home.

Quick update: the hose in the big bay on Garfield has been repaired and everything is back up and running 🎉

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there doing approximately 7,000 jobs at once and somehow still holding everything together with love. 💐

A special shoutout today to my beautiful better half, Sarah. The mama to our two incredible boys and the one constantly working behind the scenes to keep both our businesses and our home running smoothly.

From answering messages and handling the countless little details no one sees, to being an incredible mom helping fill our home with laughter and love every single day… none of this works without her.

The long days, late nights, sacrifices, and constant juggling don’t go unnoticed.

And a heartfelt thank you to every mom, and anyone who finds themselves in a mothering role in any way…by birth, by choice, by circumstance, or by love. However it looks in your life, if you’re showing up with care, guidance, and love, today is for you too.

We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

Yesterday, Jake and I spent the entire day at K-Jet painting, power washing, and cleaning up the outside of the building…and the difference is honestly incredible ✨

We were scrubbing, painting, and power washing every inch of the exterior, and it’s amazing how much brighter and fresher it already looks. It feels like the building is starting to finally match the care we’ve been putting into everything else inside.

It’s a big improvement, and just one of many steps we’re taking to keep making this place better.

We’re constantly working on upgrades, fixes, and improvements whenever we can, because we want K-Jet to feel clean, cared for, and worth coming back to.

If you haven’t been by in a while, come check it out. We think you’ll notice the difference.
