Here are some general guidelines for common household linens:

Sheets and pillowcases:
It's recommended to wash and change bed sheets and pillowcases every 1-2 weeks to maintain hygiene and freshness. Dry cleaning is typically not necessary unless there are specific stains or instructions on the care label.

Duvet covers:
These can be laundered less frequently, perhaps every 2-4 weeks or as needed.

Tablecloths and placemats:
These may require cleaning after each use, especially if there are spills or stains. Otherwise, a more thorough cleaning can be done every few months or as needed.

Napkins:
Depending on how often they are used, napkins can be washed and replaced after a few uses or laundered with the tablecloths and placemats.
