Wowza! What a weekend! My feet might be aching, but my heart is full of gratitude for my awesome customers who keep me on my toes.
First up, I tackled a massive storage room overhaul for a lovely family who wanted to "Bailey-ify" their whole house one step at a time. It's true what they say: a messy home equals a messy mind. Today, I rocked it at the Wedding Expo, setting up a booth for a fab local business owner Naukhaas. It was the PERFECT combo of fun and fitness, with me bouncing around like a supercharged bunny! I also got to catch up with some family friends at Bow Wow Vows IL(check them out, their services are dog-gone amazing) and dive into the magical world of weddings. Such a blast!
I had a folding party at another house after that, ready to tackle the monster lurking in their closet. They are both doctors, slaving away with crazy hours, so laundry was not their jam. We all have that one household task we'd rather skip, whether it's scrubbing plates, dusting, cooking, or recycling an endless sea of Amazon boxes. That's where "I know a girl" comes in! I’m here to take a load off your to-do list (and your laundry list 😉) so you can focus on the things that matter or indulge in a well-deserved break.
Post-wedding expo, I had to retrace my steps to pack up at the Expo, load up, and unload into the studio. Then came the tough love: cleaning shop from top to bottom! With some tunes to keep me company, and the BEST popcorn from Creekstone Kettle Works (highly recommend by the way, the sweetest and most generous people!), I played Cinderella, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping lipstick smears off every surface known to man!
Nothing beats my love for transforming unorganized chaos into a spotless oasis. Massive thanks to all the awesome families who put their trust in I Know A Girl for their cleaning needs. You guys are the real MVPs!
