When they throw it out in the regular trash, we will dig out the plastic for you.

FACT: most of the recycling that’s picked up weekly from your curb does not get recycled. Plastic containers glass, aluminum clans, etc. All must be rinsed out and put in a blue plastic container or brown paper bag when left on the curb for pick up.

FACT: you cannot include plastic shopping bags in your weekly recycling. They must be separated and returned to the supermarket.
Acme, Giant Ann ShopRite have boxes located near the door for shopping bag returns.
When we include our shopping bags in the weekly recycling they could be missed in the separation process and the bags get caught in the machines that separate our regular plastic.
