April is all about giving back—and we couldn’t think of a better way to start than by honoring someone who truly lives that mission every single day.

This month, we’re proud to spotlight our longtime friend Nate Wallsjr—chef, business owner, and the heart behind Second Helping NWA. Whether he’s behind the grill at Secondhand Smoke NWA or out serving those in need, Nate is constantly pouring into this community without hesitation.

Through his nonprofit, he’s helped provide meals, support, and hope to so many—and he does it all with humility, passion, and a genuine love for people. It’s not just about food for Nate—it’s about connection, compassion, and showing up when it matters most.

We’re so proud of Nate for everything he is doing in the community and happy to call him a true friend.

His next serve opportunity is this Sunday, April 5th at 3 pm. Second Helping NWA will be providing Easter dinner.
