With the upcoming freeze, a lot of people are concerned. If your pool equipment does not have freeze protection, the best thing to do is to run it Non-Stop from Monday evening to Wednesday afternoon. The biggest thing to remember is the 8-hour mark under freezing. It usually takes 8 hours or more to start doing severe damage. Do factor in that anything that stays in the shade can be below freezing despite what the air temperature is

One of the biggest things I can tell most people wanting to get a pool is that its not how great the design is. Ask them how much experience the contractors they hire have in building their pool. Modern-Day pools are done with 3D software. No, I'm not knocking the skill to design a pool using this software. But the biggest thing is that person that's designing it is not doing the work to make it a reality. So the biggest question comes down to who is going to be overseeing your pool build and who's actually doing the work?

With the trend of cold plunge becoming very popular. If your pool has a chilling system and you have a spa this is a practice you could actually start doing. Most pool owners don't ever think about the chilling system to keep their pool comfortable in the summertime to be used to turn their Spa into a cold plunge.

Ok with this crazy weather we had there's most likely going to be things that will need to be fixed. Best case is shut off the breakers so it doesn't run until temps get stable around 60 to 70 degrees for a few days. As long as the pool is still in the ground all is not lost. Your pool will be that escape again just be patient

This is a before and after of me installing a new filter. The customer wanted to go to a cartridge filter over the DE filter he had. if you look at the photo with the new filter you'll notice that the 90s have a more sweep to them then the traditional 90's. This is done to increase water flow by removing the restriction that is caused by traditional 90s. Also installed a three-way valve so that the filter could be bypassed if ever needed to vacuuming out mud dirt grime or needing to drain water. The valve was plumbed to send water to the old backwash line and not out into the yard. Our prices may not always be the cheapest but we take into consideration when doing jobs to do better than everybody else and always trying to improve things while replacing instead of just replacing
