Hi! I’m Courtney — a 31-year-old homeschooling single mama to my sweet son, Rumi, and the owner of The Home Guru LLC. I started this journey after the tragic loss of my father, which completely changed my outlook on time, freedom, and what truly matters in life. I knew I didn’t want to miss precious moments with my child while building someone else’s dream, so I created a business that allowed me to be present for my family while also helping others.

What started from struggle and survival turned into something much bigger — a trusted cleaning company built on care, reliability, and real people who genuinely love what they do. We work with insured and trusted cleaners who understand how important a peaceful, clean home is, especially during busy or difficult seasons of life.

Outside of business, you’ll usually find us adventuring, homeschooling, traveling when we can, enjoying the little things, and building a life centered around freedom, family, and community. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for others because I remember exactly what it felt like to need help, support, and flexibility myself.
