I hope to avoid mistakenly entering a residence where someone fearful of an intruder may discharge a firearm and cause me harm. I hope that individuals in such situations will clearly announce their intention to use deadly force, allowing me to take necessary precautions. Ideally, the 'stand your ground' law should require proof of prior warning and evidence of forced entry and assault before justifying the use of lethal force.
I can only pray for this family a mom no longer here with her children a 11 month old this story is so sad and could've been preventive if only this man had a better mindset of how to handle the situation.
