I don't know if anyone else has noticed or not just how filthy this town has become., Physically and figuratively. There is legitimately so much god forsaken trash strewn all across the neighborhoods and stripmalls and highways, that it makes me sick. The people that i see that just throw their trash on the ground always say, "meh, someone else will clean it up."or "its the cities job. they will clean it up." Okay well guess what, the government certainly isn't doing anything to clean up the act. So WE NEED TOO. We the people, are "the city". We show how much we respect one another by how we respect the immediate outside world around us. This planet is also gonna be a s**t ton happier and smell a whole lot better if we all start pitching in and doing something to change this repulsive behavior. Imagine what out-of-towners think of Spokane when they tour through our city, "awe, its got such potential," or "gosh look at this mess, its like this town is stuck on recovery/hungover the next day barely functioning mode, but everyday." It certainly makes me feel gross. I mean, im homeless right now for crying out loud, and i walk everywhere so I constantly fight the urge to clean up all the trash everywhere every damn day... But enough is enough. This is not healthy for anyone. So I've come up with the Idea of eliminating the litterbug wreckage. I just need a few supplies like trash bags, thick latex gloves, pull behind trash cans. Eventually I want to fill a couple trucks to separate the recycling from the legit trash and take those to designated areas. Oh, cant forget about finding those like minded individuals contributing their own down time to do the same in their neck of these deminishing woods. So come on, we gotta start somewhere, lets make Spokane great again!!! Donate to this Community project, jump on this community bandwagon and help get this place looking fly again. I know this town is the best around but we gotta do our part to put on more respectable "clothing" so our appearance matches how we want to be seen.
