We don’t usually post about other people’s work… but at this point, it needs to be said.

This is the third boat this season that’s come through our shop after a “wet sand and color restoration”—and every single one needed serious correction.

Wet sanding isn’t a shortcut. It’s a precise process that, when done wrong, can thin out gel coat, leave heavy haze, and permanently affect the finish. What should’ve been a restoration turned into a redo.

Fresh off the lot and straight into the shop 🔥

This Lexus came in brand new, but “new” doesn’t mean protected. Before applying our coating, we performed a full decontamination wash to remove any embedded contaminants from transport and the dealership, followed by a full paint correction to refine the finish and bring out maximum gloss.

We then topped it with our 7-year ceramic coating, locking in that deep shine and adding long-term protection against the elements.

This 1994 Dodge 3500 rolled into Lakeside Detailing & Tint for a full interior and exterior detail—and what a transformation.
