🐾 Great News! 🐾

🐕 Moral manager Josie and SERVPRO of Spencer & Iowa Great Lakes has some exciting news to share and we need your help!

Many of you know Josie from the "exploding dog bed" incident, we are still unsure of the cause of the explosion. 😂🤔 Rest assured she is doing great and welcoming everyone who comes to the office with tail wagging excitement.

This is where we need your help!! Josie found her furever home back in April with our owner Ryan Brooks and his family. Unfortunately, her mom "Mama June" is still looking for a family to call her own. 🥲

Mama June came to the shelter very pregnant at the end of 2025. We want to help People For Pets find this sweet mama the home she deserves so we are covering her adoption fee. Now is the time to meet your new companion and give her the loving home she so deserves. ❤️ June is an absolute lover, great with other dogs, and loves to play!

In partnership with The Spencer Municipal Golf Course, SERVPRO of Spencer & Iowa Great Lakes will be hosting the 6th Annual First Responder Appreciation Golf Outing on August 21st. This event has been developed for the first responders in NW Iowa to play a round of 18, with a cart, and a meal at no charge, while winning prizes and donations for their respective department. With this tournament we are looking for department sponsors, hole sponsors, both gift and monetary donations.
