In partnership with The Spencer Municipal Golf Course, SERVPRO of Spencer & Iowa Great Lakes will be hosting the 6th Annual First Responder Appreciation Golf Outing on August 21st. This event has been developed for the first responders in NW Iowa to play a round of 18, with a cart, and a meal at no charge, while winning prizes and donations for their respective department. With this tournament we are looking for department sponsors, hole sponsors, both gift and monetary donations. This event would not be possible without the generous donations from local businesses and is a great opportunity to donate items that promote your business while giving back to our local heroes. There has been a report of an exploding dog bed at SERVPRO of Spencer & Iowa Great Lakes. Fortunately, Josie, who was in the room at the time of explosion, is completely unharmed. As for the cause of explosion, we can only assume from the innocent look on her face that the bed "just blew up" as is the case in many instances of exploding dog beds 😆

Statistics show that 1 out of 3 dogs in America will experience an exploding dog bed in their lifetime. The percentage increases by 50% for puppies. Other exploding items may include shoes, children's toys, furniture legs, and remote controls. Together we can raise awareness.
