This clean today broke my heart.

It was a rental clean. We had done the original construction clean before this place was rented. It was beautifully done and the home was in pristine condition with the best of appliances and in top notch condition.

Today, it had ruined floors, cigarette butts disagreed on the floors, a crack in a tub, water damage, filth covering every single surface and mud on so many surfaces, windows and doors. There was trash everywhere. 😞

The damage was gut wrenching. I see people complaining so often about how high rent is and yes, rent is awfully high these days. However, if you saw what we see as often as we do, you’d understand better why landlords have to charge so much.

We have got it looking a lot better and will do the rest of our part tomorrow but much is needed to restore this once beautiful home.

Some days you just have to roll up your sleeves and get it done. Look at these afters! 🤩🤩Magic 🪄

I am always so grateful for the team of people at Carr’s N Company but today just hit different.

Like lump in the throat different.

I’ve been pulling 70 hour weeks the last two weeks. We have been getting our behinds kicked.

Lilly came in early today to help clean apartments. Ciaria showed up on her day off to service a new client. Nikki offered to work extra this week.

I just ran out of apartments to get to a residential client and the Operations Coordinator AND the Operation Manager were both in the parking lot, walking up to me to help finish out this project so I don’t have to run back.

I didn’t ask them to come, didn’t say anything and yet, here they are.

Sometimes angels look like a teenager, a mom of a bunch of kids, a single mom and a couple of dudes in shades.
