Mansfield pools have a neighbor problem: Joe Pool Lake.
Algae spores from the lake travel by air and settle in your pool, and some strains shrug off chlorine. Noah explains the non-reactive pre-emergent treatment we use: no skin or eye irritation, no harsh smell, no surprise blooms. 25+ years in Mansfield. Give us your address and we'll measure your pool from a map search. 817-662-2532

We've pulled 40-50 lbs of debris out of a single pool filter.

Backwashing helps. It doesn't replace taking the filter apart and deep-cleaning it. Noah shows the oxidizer step for cartridges and how to rinse grids without wrecking them: 40-degree tip, low pressure, keep your distance. Full how-to for cartridge, DE, and sand on the blog.

That natural stone around your Southlake pool is beautiful. It's also feeding minerals into your water.

Lime, calcium and iron leach out of the rock and show up as deposits on tile and spillways. Algae also hides in stone where a brush can't reach. Noah explains the pre-emergent treatment we use to stop it before you ever see it. 27 years in Southlake. Send your address and we'll map your pool for a quote. 817-662-2532

A salt pool is still a chlorine pool—and UV sunlight and swimmer debris are what wear that chlorine down.

The salt cell is rated for roughly 2,000 running hours. Cold water, scale on the plates, and low stabilizer all burn through that faster. Inspect it every 90 days, don't run it in the cold, and yes, add chlorine in winter. Salt pool in Southlake, Keller, or Colleyville? We service those every week.

Fort Worth pool water isn't the same on every side of town.

North side and down toward Benbrook, well water means higher dissolved solids, more staining and more stubborn algae. Central Fort Worth gets steadier city water. Noah has worked all of it for 25+ years. Weekly full service or chemical-only, priced to your pool's exact gallonage, and you can switch tiers any time. More Stockyards, less pool work. 817-662-2532

Cartridge filters catch debris 2-3x finer than sand. There's one catch.

You can't backwash one. Cleaning means shutting down, opening the tank, and rinsing by hand. Noah covers the pros, the cons, and who a cartridge filter fits best. Full filter comparison on the blog. Which filter do you have? Tell us below.
