🎙️ NEW PODCAST EPISODE! 🎙️
How do you make menopause, divorce, job loss, brain fog, hot flashes, and a midlife identity crisis funny?
If you're author Teri M. Brown, apparently you write Peg, Unhinged.
This may be one of the funniest episodes of the Imagine Moore Podcast we've recorded. Teri had me laughing from the very beginning as we talked about her newest novel and the wonderfully imperfect character of Peg.

One thing Teri said during our conversation really stuck with me:
"I try to create characters people would want to invite to lunch."

And Peg is definitely one of those people. She's funny, flawed, relatable, and says some of the things many of us only dare to think.

Along the way, Teri shares stories from her own life, her writing journey, and the adventures that inspired her books.
Whether you're a reader, a writer, or just someone trying to survive life's unexpected plot twists, you're going to enjoy this one.

If you could invite any fictional character to lunch, who would it be?

SPECIAL EDITION PODCAST DROP !!

Because May is Mental Health Awareness Month, I felt this conversation was too important to wait for our normal release schedule.

This Memorial Day, The Imagine Moore Podcast welcomes Dr. Leake of Derive' Clinic in Pinehurst for an honest, thoughtful conversation about mental health, stress, burnout, and what he calls “mental health hygiene.”

Drawing from years in the emergency room, Dr. Leake shares powerful insights about the emotional struggles many people quietly carry every day—and simple ways we can begin taking better care of ourselves and each other.

This isn’t a heavy clinical conversation.
It’s a human one.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, stretched too thin… or know someone who has… this episode is for you.

Please listen, share, and maybe check in on someone today. Sometimes the strongest people are carrying the heaviest things silently.

And as always… keep imagining Moore.

There are some stories that make you stop and say…

“How did I not know about this?”

The Sandhills Woman’s Exchange is one of those stories.

For over 100 years, this beautiful organization has been quietly helping women support themselves through handmade goods, creativity, and dignity, a movement that actually began in the 1830s.
In our latest episode of The Imagine Moore Podcast, I sit down with the women behind the Exchange to uncover its powerful history and why it still matters today.

But they need our help.
After Tropical Storm Chantal, the Exchange must raise $60,000 to elevate their flooring and protect this historic space for the future.

If you’ve ever believed in supporting local, preserving history, or lifting others up — this is one of those moments.
