HS LIFE HACK
Today' s Life Hack is for our gardener friends & those who aspire to that title. Banana peels are a little known secret that can help your plants thrive. Fill a 2-quart jar about 3/4 of the way with water. Everytime you eat a banana, simply cut the peel and place in it the jar storing it in your refrigerator. When the jar gets full, strain it & mix it with 1 gallon of plain water. Use this "compost tea" to water your plants giving them the potassium, phosphorous, calcium, & magnesium they need while also getting the most from your bananas.

Today's HS Life Hack is a trick to boost our greatest asset--our mind! In his article, "15 Ways to Boost Mental Energy," Mike Fishbein suggest that changing up our routines can be energizing. When we try something new, our brain can't check out; instead, it becomes motivated & active.

Fishbein suggests that we "Learn something new. Go on a spontaneous adventure." Something as simple as taking a different route to work or reading a book from a different genre than we usually read can be very rewarding. Don't be afraid to change things up. Try to find new ways of doing things. Your brain will thank you!
