When using oven cleaners bought at the store like Easy Off, please do not use glass cleaner to “remove” the leftover residue like I’ve seen trending lately. That’s actually incredibly harmful to mix those chemicals together creating toxic fumes not only to breathe in, but to cook your food around.

I recommend going over it with dawn power wash 2-3 times and rinsing with water well and drying thoroughly then use the glass cleaner ONLY for the glass portion of the oven!

It’s really important not to listen to every trick and hack online, ALWAYS do your own research before listening to every “professional” online.

A cleaning service quote isn’t the take home amount. Taxes alone can take up to 25% of the price, then you have gas and expenses for the tools and products being used some of which that shouldn’t be used again, not even on the same house if they are doing it right! Think about that the next time you get worked up about a quote someone gives you 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

You get what you pay for, this is a true saying. Cleaning houses isn’t some grand educational degree required service, but it does take hard work, breaking down of the body, safety measures and a little bit of science and chemistry to keep people safe! It’s a valuable service and people can definitely do it themselves for free if they want to. However, show a little bit of respect for those who get down on their hands and knees to scrub your floors, toilets and gunk from your spaces to make your living area better for you 😊

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some friends and family support me along the way, but your biggest support and clientele will come from those you never knew before you started and that’s okay. 3 of my main clients I never knew even a day before I started my business, and I thank Jesus every single day that I did. They mean so much to me, I almost hate to charge them now LOL
