We recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Bridget Ervin-Furnari, Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, and Senior Care Authority for a Craft & Lunch & Learn with the Red Bank Senior Center.

Spending time with the local senior community and seeing everyone enjoy the watercolor activity made for a really great afternoon. It’s always such a privilege to stay involved and support our local community, and we’re grateful for everyone who joined us!

Myth: Waiting a day for repairs after water damage won’t make a difference.
Fact: Water damage can spread quickly, increasing repair scope and cost.

Water can move into flooring, drywall, and surrounding materials faster than most people expect. The sooner the issue is addressed, the better the chances of limiting further damage and avoiding larger repairs.

If you notice signs of water damage, contact SERVPRO® Team Majeski to have the situation assessed before it gets worse.

We were proud to sponsor the recent Ridge Road Run 5K for su***de prevention. The event, organized by Ridge Road Alliance, rallied students, families, and local community members in support of teen mental health awareness and prevention efforts, and we’re grateful to have been part of it.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who showed up to support an important cause!

National Electrical Safety Month is a great time to take a closer look at common risks around your home or business and consider these essential safety tips:

🔌 Do not overload outlets or power strips
🔌 Replace damaged cords or loose outlets
🔌 Keep electrical equipment away from water
🔌 Use licensed professionals for repairs or upgrades
🔌 Test smoke detectors and check electrical panels for any signs of wear

Electrical issues can lead to serious damage if they are not addressed early. If a problem leads to fire or damage, SERVPRO® Team Majeski is available 24/7 to respond and help get things back in order.

Pro Tip: Check Your Insurance Coverage

Spring storms tend to expose the same issues year after year, especially in basements and crawlspaces. One of the biggest problems we see is insurance gaps, as a lot of property owners assume rising water is covered until they have to file a claim. Take a few minutes to review your policy with a trusted agent and make sure your coverage matches your space. A $10,000 policy might work for an unfinished basement, but it will not come close to covering a finished one.

If a storm does lead to water damage, SERVPRO® Team Majeski is available 24/7 to respond and help get your property back in order.
