Celebration of life yesterday…. I didn’t know her. Met her briefly. But from what I’ve heard… one amazing lady.
I wish, more than anything, as we get older, we could turn back time. That the youth of today knew and appreciated the lives before them.
Yes… I know… I’ve changed, times have changed, people change. But, there was an era when life was magical. When families stood together. Photos were taken. History was made. And holidays will never be the same.
I struggled yesterday. I only met her one time. But the tribute flashed back times of old, of family, of tradition. And more than ever.. I wished so much to have it back.
Thank you Jane. You don’t know me. Nor I you. But you made an impact. A flash into the past, a lifetime I would love to have back.
Grateful for this small gesture of remembrance. When I fill it with flowers, I’ll think of you, what you stood for, and how much your family and community adored you.
