Here’s information about Kate Murphy’s Cottage:
You will enter a calm, secluded environment and get away from the busy world in this charming, old-fashioned cottage with many Irish touches -- but also with wireless internet connection. Flat-screen cable TV, hundreds of channels, DVD player! Enjoy the easy two-block stroll to Sonoma Plaza, where you can choose from Sonoma's best restaurants and browse shops.
Our traditionally furnished living room has cozy, natural gas fireplace and sofa bed for additional guest (for modest additional rent, children under 12 free). The lovely kitchen has everything you need for light housekeeping. A small room off living room can be an office or nursery. Screened-in front porch is perfect for reading, cocktails, etc.; it looks out over lovely garden. Deer are often sighted in the backyard picnic area.
We are available by the week, two weeks, three weeks or month; also selected weekends. Ideal for those who are vacationing, house hunting, relocating, visiting family or friends, extended business trips. We prefer to rent the cottage to travelers who are staying a week or more. As a result, we will not be accepting booking requests for fewer than five days if your request is more than three months prior to the dates you wish to stay. We hope you understand our policy and we fully understand that you may wish to book accommodations elsewhere. Our Visitors Bureau has many fine listings in and around Sonoma.
Regarding the VRBO booking fee, VRBO and Homeaway have recently added a new feature that allows the traveler to book through them on their web site. The traveler receives certain benefits from this method, and there is a booking fee required. If you wish to book directly with us, you may do so with a credit card. The City of Sonoma charges a 12% tourism tax and there is no additional fee or other hidden charges.
