To kill the virus, the surface must stay wet for the entire time on the label. Look for "contact time" or "dwell time". COVID BUSTERS only uses EPA list N approved products with a contact time of 10 minutes and is approved for porous and non porous surfaces.
How do we disinfect?
COVID Busters uses two different systems to decontaminate your home or business. First we use OZONE technology to circulate and decontaminate the air inside, then we apply LIST N EPA approved chemicals to the porous an non porous surfaces inside your home or business. The chemical disinfectant is self drying with a contact time of 10 minutes and is applied using a fog application.
What is OZONE?
Ozone has been used for years as a drinking water disinfectant and hospital sterilization. Ozone is produced when O2 is energized and split into two monatomic (O1) molecules. The monatomic oxygen molecules then collide with O2 molecules to form ozone, which is O3. Thus, ozone consists of O2 with a loosely bonded third oxygen atom that is readily available to attach to, and oxidize, other molecules. This additional oxygen atom makes ozone a powerful oxidant that destroys microorganisms but is highly unstable (i.e., half-life of 22 minutes at room temperature).
Does OZONE WORK ON COVID 19?
Currently, there has not been research done to see if OZONE kills the current COVID 19 virus. However, there are reasons to believe that it may be effective. During the 2003 SARS outbreak OZONE sterilization was used to successfully purify environments infected with the CORONAVIRUS-SARS.
How Does OZONE Kill Coronaviruses?
Coronaviruses are classified as “enveloped viruses”, Ozone destroys "enveloped viruses" by breaking through the outer shell into the core. Ozone can also damage the outer shell of the virus in a process called oxidation.
