Se refiere a Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, “El Mencho”, e Iván Archivaldo Guzmán, destacando la alianza entre el CJNG y Los Chapitos. A pesar de ser organizaciones criminales rivales durante años, ambas partes finalmente comenzaron a trabajar juntas contra La Mayiza, con personal y recursos de CJNG enviados para apoyar a Los Chapitos.

This is the famous footage of “La Perris” firing a .50-caliber Barrett during the 2019 Culiacanazo. The images became some of the most recognizable footage from the Culiacanazo, showing the level of firepower deployed against Mexican security forces that day.
For years, he was publicly identified as Jorge Humberto Figueroa Benitez, but later investigations reported that this was not his real name. His actual name was Isaías Maníquez Tornero, and according to those reports, he had taken the identity of a neighbor who was not involved in organized crime.
He was also known as “La Perris” and “El 27.”
The nickname “La Perris” was also reflected in his imagery. He was reportedly associated with French flags and Paris references, playing on the similarity between “Perris” and
“Paris,” which became a distinctive symbol around his image.
His role during the Culiacanazo to liberate Ovidio Guzmán helped raise his profile within Los Chapitos. After the operation, he was said to have gained greater trust from Iván Archivaldo and Alfredo Guzmán and eventually moved into a higher position within their security structure.
Years later, the U.S. government formally identified him as a leader within the faction’s security apparatus and placed a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest.
He was eventually killed during a military operation in Sinaloa in May 2025.
