There's a lot more to a roofing project than what you see when it's finished!

From the exposed framing to getting materials in place and installing the roofing, these photos give you a look at what goes into a project like this.

We also wanted to show some of the preparation around the home, including the protective coverings used during the work.

Take a look at what our crew has been working on in Snohomish! 💛

💛 Tuesday Testimonial

Sometimes the reviews that mean the most are the ones that remind us why being there for our customers matters.

Catherine shared her experience after dealing with a roof leak around Christmas last year.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Christmas of 2025 we had a leak into our living room. We phoned Amor at night! W received a call back late that night. One of the owners came and blocked the leak.

The next day they were there to access the damage and our needs. New roof, new plywood was needed. They did a fantastic job . We had a terrible storm and they still worked and did everything we contracted for and more!!!

We can’t say enough good things about the owners and their excellent team"

Thank you, Catherine! We appreciate your trust in Amor Roofing and your recognition of our team.

A new roof can make quite a difference in how a home looks!

For this project, our crew replaced the existing roof with Malarkey Vista shingles in Weathered Wood.

The video takes you through the before, the work in progress, and the finished result. It's a great look at what goes into a roof replacement beyond the final photos.

Check out the transformation! 💛

𝗙𝗔𝗤 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆: 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻?

There's more to your roof than what you can see from the driveway.

In a vented attic, proper airflow helps manage heat and moisture that can build up beneath the roof. Air typically enters through lower intake vents and exits through higher vents, like the ridge vent shown in these photos.

But a ridge vent is only one part of the system. Having enough intake airflow matters too.

It's an important detail to understand when you're having your roof inspected or replaced.

Next time you're reviewing a roofing proposal, here's a good question to ask: "How is my attic ventilation being handled?"

Sometimes the best office visits have nothing to do with roofing! 💛

Dylan had one of his favorite visitors stop by today, and we couldn't resist sharing this moment.

Just a little peek behind the scenes at Amor Roofing. 😊

A new roof is a significant decision. For Brian's project in Snohomish, our team documented the process from tear-off and underlayment to shingle installation and detail work around roof penetrations.

Brian's review speaks to more than the finished roof. The consultation mattered just as much as the workmanship.

His full 5-star Google review:

“What a wonderful experience! Not only did I get a high-quality, professionally installed roof, but the entire process was fast, efficient, and spotless. The consultation was informative and completely pressure-free, which gave me the confidence that I was making a smart financial decision while investing in a quality product. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service and craftsmanship.”

Thank you, Brian, for trusting our team and taking the time to share your experience.

This isn't your typical roof replacement.

For this large riding arena, the transformation went far beyond installing new metal panels. From exposed framing and new roof decking to the metal roofing taking shape, each stage shows just how much work goes into a project of this size.

Swipe through the photos to see the progression and the difference new roofing makes.

Happy Friday!

We wrapped up another roof replacement this week, this time in Bothell, WA.

This project features Malarkey Windsor shingles in Black Oak, along with roof re-sheeting and ridge venting.

The finished roofline and dimensional shingle pattern really stand out in these photos. It's a great way to close out the workweek.

A big thank you to our crew for their hard work and to the homeowners for trusting us with their home.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵: “I𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴.”

It's a common assumption here in Western Washington, especially with our rainy season approaching.

But roofing concerns don't always need to wait for warmer weather.

While certain roofing projects require specific weather conditions, inspections and some repairs can still be completed throughout the cooler months.

A loose shingle, damaged flashing, or a developing leak isn't necessarily going to wait until spring.

That doesn't mean every concern needs immediate work. Sometimes the best next step is a repair, and sometimes it's simply understanding the roof's condition and planning ahead.

The important part is knowing what you're dealing with before making that decision.

Our goal is to give homeowners straightforward information and recommendations that make sense for their individual roofs.

𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗪𝗔.

Attention to detail on a roof starts long before the first panel goes into place.

This standing-seam metal roof replacement is being led by Santiago and his crew. From planning the layout to preparing materials and fitting custom metal pieces where roof sections meet, there is a lot happening before you ever see the finished roof.

This project is using 𝗡𝘂𝗥𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻, and these photos give a closer look at the work happening along the way.

For us, good roofing is not just about how the finished roof looks. It is about taking the time to get the details right throughout the process.
