Tip Tuesday: that Halloween candy stash in the cardboard box? Pantry moths already found it.
π¬ Pantry moths and beetles are drawn to anything sugary or starchy sitting in a cardboard box or thin plastic bag, and a big candy stash left in its original packaging is an easy target. Move candy, cereal, flour, and baking supplies into sealed containers, and take a look at anything that's been in the pantry for a while for small webbing or tiny holes. It only takes one bag of infested flour to spread larvae to everything else on the shelf, so when in doubt, toss it. π
If you're already noticing tiny moths flying around your kitchen, that's a sign it's time for a professional look, visit www.absolutepestco.com to get it handled before it spreads. Five minutes with some sealed containers now beats a bigger cleanup later. π
