***WARNING THERE IS GRAPHIC IMAGES AND A VIDEO POSTED BELOW. IF BLOOD MAKES YOU UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T CLICK THE VIDEO***
One of my family members Had a crazy fall accident and her arm went through a glass panel door and lost about a quarter of her blood since she cut every ligament, tendon, nerve and one of her main arteries. It took three tourniquets to stop the bleeding then she had to go into emergency surgery for a little over 7 hours. (We almost lost her!)
They literally had to stabilize her first before surgery! (Can you imagine that?)
She has two boys at home and lost all her income from picking up side jobs. She lost her family vehicle from it getting wrecked just the week before her fall and can't afford a rental. It won't be but another 6 weeks till they can start working on her car and shes having to borrow vehicles to get back and forth from appointments. Her appointments are an hour away one way and will have to travel 2 hours round trip multiple times a week to go to physical therapy.
With her two boys at home she's having someone else taking care of her children while shes home because she literally cannot do anything at all.
She has 20 plus stitches and won't be able to get where she needs to be with her hand for over a year and will be having more surgeries in the future.
She can't hold or pick up her small children(almost 4 and 1) and it's taking a serious toll on her mental health.
As mothers we could all use a little help from time to time as it is, but this sweet young mama really means our help as a community. If we can't turn to each other in times of need then what truly has this world come to?
I know you probably don't know her personally and asking for help like this and even giving help to strangers can feel very uncomfortable at times but if anyone is absolutely deserving of a helping hand it would be her. She has overcome so many obstacles in life and to hear her story will bring you to absolute tears. She is a very devoted and loving mother, friend, daughter she truly is a ray of sunshine in this crazy world.
While she is in recovery and working on healing she's going to need some help getting gas to get back and forth to physical therapy, help with bills, repairs and things of that nature. I considered starting a GoFundMe page but GoFundMe takes out a certain percentage of all donations and I would like for her to get as much as possible so that every penny sent can be used to help her situation.
I could quote scripture and other things to try to pull on your heart strings through a biblical stance where the Bible says that we need to help each other in times of need and if you give the shirt off your back to a stranger you're giving it to Christ himself but we already know those facts and I don't want to come across as manipulative and try to convince someone to do something they don't want to from their heart. So I will leave this here and pray that a few of us can come together and help this sweet little family out.
Below I will post pictures of the incident as well as linking her Facebook to this post so that you can verify her condition and reach out to her directly if needed.
I'm asking if anyone can help even if it's just 1$ or $5 it would mean the absolute world to her.
