Please read……….

We have addressed this many times. But here it is again.

Seminole Laundromat and Revelations Armaments are two separate entities , meaning the employees at Revelations have nothing to do with the laundromat and vice versa.

If you go into Revelations and ask about anything to do with the laundromat, they will inform you they have nothing to do with it. They are not equipped with more than a few dollars in quarters and can not give you change or address the fact your bills are too crumpled to use in the change machine in the laundromat

We realize this may not sit well with some even though we supply a change machine. It does sometime run out or individuals have stuck things in it and caused a jam.

For ANY AND ALL ISSUES PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THE DEALINGS IN THE GUN STORE. USE THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IS ON THE SIGNAGE IN THE LAUNDROMAT OR MESSAGE THIS PAGE DIRECTLY

Getting upset because you went in the gun store and was told the employees can’t help you. But they still
Swapped you a crisp bill so the change machine would accept it is almost comical. Even in this day and time of entitlement. But coming back in and throwing a candy bar on the counter and telling another adult they need to eat it because they are an as***le is unacceptable. And when the employee plainly said “mam what did I say “ and you are on tape saying “it’s not what you said. It’s how you said it”.

Well mam, it was clear you were upset that you didn’t get your way. It wasn’t anything anyone did besides you yourself.

The seeking attention by making a Facebook post and leaving out the key details is again comical even in a society of entitled spoiled children. This page is monitored 24/7 and email addresses are posted on the signage in the laundromat. As always. Issues should be directed to us. Not another business.

Video footage was reviewed before this post and the owner is prepared to discuss this matter with the customer if they choose to dispute this factual explanation of events.

No swiping Swiper!!

It’s a great time to discuss our cameras again !!

Today’s unfortunate events in a nut shell.

I won’t load the four camera angles and audio due to minors involved! However if any parties decide to view them. They are saved in the cloud and on my phone.

Approximately 5:44 this afternoon a customer complained about some money she left on a washer being gone after she stepped out to her vehicle ( she did not leave the premises). We watched the footage and confirmed the time she left it and the time that a juvenile ( with parents and sibling ) picked it up , placed it on a blanket by the father. Father folded blanket over it. Nothing was said

Owner of money came back in. Asked the family of four did they see or take it. All claimed no knowledge. At this point is when we got involved. Through the cameras we contacted the family explained what we watched and asked for it to be returned.

Over the next several minutes the family is seen counting money while the mother is dropping f bombs and stating the lady shouldn’t have left money and they didn’t have it. The father decided to confront workers in the gun store who again have NOTHING to do with the laundromat !

At this point i was notified and dropped what I was doing to go address the situation after learning the mother was belligerent towards the lady that lost the money. ( all this is ready to show anyone that doubts the story )

Upon arriving , I stepped inside. Asked the father to step outside so as he could view the footage and we come up with a resolution away from the minors. Immediately before he even stepped out he is telling his family to gather their belongings. He refused to view the footage !! His wife threatened to contact her lawyer. lol. To which I clearly told her please do. It wouldn’t be an issue with me in time nor money to show a lawyer or judge what I have in 4k. She declined to view it as well.

As a father if my child was accused of something and I was told. There was footage. You are damn right I’m watching it. But I digress. Point is. I had it on film. It could have been a teaching moment. But instead it was a very very tense situation to say the least.

The mother stormed back in. Cussed the other customer up and down. And stormed back out.
The teenage child screamed at us all to stop and I asked her to just look at her father and admit she picked it up. She paused and then said “I guess I picked it up with ours !” The parents told her get in the vehicle and continued to cuss and threaten everyone.

It truly saddens me that regardless of it being took on purpose or by accident that the parents refused to simply view the footage. I am sure they will bash me and my business. Since I also have the mother saying if she winds up on my Facebook she would sue. Even though the law is very very clear on our rights to use footage from the cameras that are in place and warning signs in six prominent locations. But again. Legal battles don’t scare me.

I am taking the high road and not posting the pictures and over 23 minutes of total footage from all angles. Only because a minor is involved. If anyone wants to view it to verify this whole story. I will gladly meet for you to view it. This includes all parties involved.

In a climate when so many teens are getting in trouble mostly due to poor parenting. Parents should take any moments they can make a teaching moment seriously. But I suppose not everyone is alike in that way of thinking. I honestly don’t fault the teen. I want to think she did it by accident. But the parents not being willing to remain calm and view the footage well that’s a deep subject.

Our crew just spent four hours deep cleaning and sanitizing the entire facility. Along with a couple repairs.

The video monitor tends to go off after a power outage but I assure you we are recording 24/7 to meet our needs for the gun store and entire property.

We truly don’t like to post people at their lowest and absolutely fine no joy in pressing charges.

But it’s been a while. Some may have forgotten And maybe it’s time for a reminder.

We will close the whole place before we allow people to treat the facilities so poorly.

Please do your part and if you witness vandalism or negligence. Please contact us. If you have an accident let us know. If you see a problem say something.

There may even be a reward depending on the level of offense !!!

We’d like to remind you that we are a laundromat. Not a playground. The signs posted clearly state no playing with the carts. Not only are you risking having to pay for the equipment. You are allowing your kids to risk injury that we will not be liable for. Please respect the signage and rules. The carts are there for your convenience

🚨 John Bishop is returning to Smithville 🚨

We are excited to announce the hire of John Bishop! If you are from Smithville , no doubt you are aware of what a great hire this is for us !

Well known throughout Monroe County and beyond , John brings a wealth of knowledge , expertise and professionalism to our staff!

Having served in law enforcement now for 29 years, John recently retired from full time work . Although he will still be active in law enforcement, he has joined as our newest part time employee!

Captain John Bishops accolades include but are not limited to :

Director of Training for the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, and the Monroe County Sheriff's Office Training Academy, in MS.

SWAT team commander

As Captain he handkes Administrative duties, including areas, such as grant writing, law enforcement certifications, policy management, Law Fit Instructor, and Tactical Conditioning Specialist.

He Served as lead fi****ms instructor, holding certifications in, Patrol R***e, Sh***un, Handgun, Combat Shooting, Tactical Shooting, and Advanced Tactics for Fi****ms Instructors.

He has been a ALERT Instructor since 2008.
Currently teaches LEVEL 1, ERASE, AAIR, and CRASE.

Currently holds a State of Mississippi Instructor Certificate.

This certification allows him to certify law enforcement officers as instructors for the state of MS. It is also a requirement for Law Enforcement Academy.

John states , “ I have been fortunate over my career to have obtained certifications in many areas of law enforcement. I have served as a Patrol Officer/Deputy, achieving the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain. I have served as a Criminal Investigator, Dive Team Leader, Search and Rescue team member, SRT Team Leader, SWAT Team Leader, Assistant SWAT Team Leader, SWAT Team Training Officer.
I have a deep passion for teaching and training law enforcement officers all over. I feel that it is a calling, honor, and privilege to be a part of this service. I feel that, we must all strive to be the best we can be, through sound and proven methods of training offered, and by seeking out instruction by most talented instructors available.

John adds that his hobbies include activities such as, Weightlifting, Scooba Diving, Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, and Trail Riding.

He says he’s excited to join us at Revelations Armaments , But man oh man we are the ones excited !!

Makes plans to come see him on his first day July 19th !!

It’s been a while since we did this.

But lately more and more people have forgot that we expect cleanliness from all that use our facilities. We appreciate every person that uses our small locally owned laundromat. But……. When you are literally right there so close to picking up after yourself and just say screw it and leave trash in the floor. We really don’t need that dollar you spent in the dryers

So if anyone knows “shawty in boots”. Please let her know if this is what she is use to doing. There is a laundromat in a neighboring town that will appreciate her more than us. They will
More than likely love the thumping the cigarette right at their front door too

Huge huge thanks to all that accepted the request to follow the Revelations outdoor page. Waking up and losing over 9k followers can all but bankrupt a small business that relies on social media for advertising. Thank you all so very much.
