A professional exterior wash is about more than making a vehicle look clean. It’s about properly removing the dirt, grime, and contamination that build up on your paint and wheels over time. 🧼✨

At Outlaw Auto Detailing, we take the time to clean the areas that often get overlooked and properly prepare the surface for whatever comes next.

Our exterior wash process can include:

🫧 Foam bath to safely loosen dirt and road grime before contact washing

🧽 Brushless wash to thoroughly clean the exterior while minimizing the risk of introducing new scratches and swirls

🛞 Detailed wheel, tire & wheel barrel cleaning to remove brake dust, dirt, and buildup from every surface

🧲 Iron remover treatment to break down embedded iron and brake dust contamination

✨ Chrome treatment to clean up and restore the appearance of chrome surfaces

🧼 Clay bar treatment to remove bonded contaminants that washing alone can’t remove

💦 Thorough rinse and drying to leave the exterior clean, smooth, and ready for the next step

Proper paint prep is especially important before a paint correction, wax, or ceramic coating. Removing as much surface contamination as possible gives us a clean foundation to safely polish and protect the paint.

Whether your vehicle needs a deep exterior refresh or you’re preparing it for paint correction or long-term protection, the results start with the prep.

This Honda came into Outlaw Auto Detailing ready for a serious exterior refresh. 🧼✨

Years of automatic car washes, Central Oregon weather, road grime, and sun exposure had left the paint covered in scratches, swirl marks, and a faded appearance. Our goal was to bring the depth and color back to the brown paint while giving the exterior a cleaner, more refined finish.

We started with a thorough exterior wash and paint decontamination, including:

🧽 Deep exterior wash to remove dirt, grime, and buildup

🧲 Clay bar treatment to remove embedded iron and contaminants from the paint

🛞 Detailed wheel and tire cleaning

✨ One-step paint correction to reduce years of scratches and swirl marks

☀️ Restored depth, gloss, and color to the sun-faded brown paint

💧 Finished with a hydrophobic wax coating for added shine, protection, and water-beading properties

The result is a dramatically cleaner, deeper finish that brought this Honda’s brown paint back to life while adding a layer of protection to help keep it looking cleaner between washes.

👉 Swipe to the end to see the side-by-side comparison of the buffed and unbuffed paint. The difference is all in the prep and paint correction.

We started with a thorough exterior wash and clay bar decontamination before moving into a multi-step paint correction to remove swirls, imperfections, and surface defects while bringing the black paint back to a deep, glossy finish. Trim pieces were carefully taped off before buffing to ensure a clean, precise result.

Once the paint was properly corrected and prepped, we applied a 5-Year Ceramic Coating for long-term protection, enhanced gloss, and hydrophobic properties.

Inside, we completed a full interior detail with deep vacuuming, carpet shampooing, leather conditioning, and detailed cleaning throughout the cabin. Interior surfaces, vents, seams, and hard-to-reach cracks were carefully steam cleaned, while the glass was thoroughly cleaned to finish off the interior.
