This car came in with some clarity issues and light marring in the paint. A multi step polishing process was performed to remove some micro scratches and light swirls, then a ceramic polish was applied for some added protection and additional gloss. Pictures don't do this car justice.

Winter is over, spring time is here and it's time to get those rides shined up.
This one had a few issues going on and I was uncertain how much of it could be corrected, my best guess its a combination hard water and oxidation from sitting in the sun along with some shadowing from decals that were on the hood and doors.
After a little trial and error, I found a pad and compound combination that works for this particular job. The goal was to restore the shine and not remove every defect as there is not enough clear coat to remove everything.
Looks like a different car.

This restored C10 came to me with a little too much texture in the paint that was hindering the reflection of the paint.
The truck was wetsanded to knock down some of texture, multi step compound and polish was performed to restore the surface clarity of the clear coat then a ceramic coating was applied to the painted surfaces and trim.

Short story, towards the end of 2022 we decided to sell our house suddenly. Two weeks later the house was listed, 3 days later it was sold and that left us scrambling to find a place to live until we found a place that fit our wants, mainly more space with less neighbors.
After almost a year in a apartment we found a place that fit most of our wants list but it also came with a few more projects than anticipated. I now have a slightly larger building but I still have to finish the interior but that hasn't stopped me from starting to take on some work again.
Anyways, check out this Chevelle that I fixed up. The paint had a little too much texture so I sanded it a bit to remove some of the texture, multi step polish to bring back the gloss and clarity. Ceramic coating was then applied to keep things shiny and easier to maintain

This truck came to me with heavy swirls and staining in the paint after being stored away for many years. The goal wasn't to make the truck perfect but get it looking as good as possible without damaging it by removingtoo much clear coat. Preservation is key since this truck is 32 years old, hasn't been registered since 1992 and only 700 miles.

Swirls removed and ceramic coated. Extremely glossy and easier to clean.

This GT350R was looking a bit dull and grey due to the amount of swirls in the paint.
A lot of toy vehicles get dusted off more than they get washed and that can be hard on your paint. If getting out the hose and wash mit isn't an option there are plenty of good waterless or rinseless wash products on the market. Those products help lubricate and lift the dirt off the surface to be wiped away rather than pushing it across the paint.

Something I don't normally like to do is sand paint but sometimes it needs to be done. A light sand with 2k and 3k to remove some of the texture and then polished it back out. This kind of work isn't recommended on factory paint jobs.

Swirls removed and ceramic coated. After a few test spots trying different pad and polish combinations, I was able to find a combo that allowed me to achieve these results in one step, it was a slow process but I didn't have to get out the heavy compound and remove more clear coat than needed. Preservation is also important.

Here's another "not your average grocery getter".
One step polish to remove the swirls, also restore the color depth and gloss. Then a ceramic coating was applied to the paint for that added gloss and easier cleaning.
