🇺🇸 VETERANS DAY CLEANING GIVEAWAY 🇺🇸

This Veterans Day, Simply Spotless LLC wants to do something meaningful to give back to a veteran in our community. ❤️

We are giving ONE local veteran 6 HOURS OF FREE PROFESSIONAL CLEANING in their home. 🧹✨

We are incredibly thankful for the sacrifices our veterans have made for us. The life we get to live today is possible because there have been people willing to sacrifice so much to protect it.

In order for us to live the lives we love, so many others had to sacrifice for us.

We cannot imagine what many of you have experienced, what you have had to leave behind, or what you have gone through simply to help keep our country and the people in it safe.

We have an incredible amount of respect, gratitude, and appreciation for you—more than we could ever put into words. ❤️🇺🇸

So, this Veterans Day, we want to give back in a small way.

We are offering 6 FREE HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL CLEANING to one veteran who could genuinely use a helping hand.

We know that life can get overwhelming. Sometimes having someone step in and take cleaning off your plate can make a bigger difference than people realize. Our hope is to give this gift to a veteran who is currently going through a difficult season, has a lot on their plate, or simply could really benefit from some extra help around the home.

This isn't about having the biggest story or the most difficult circumstances. We simply want to hear from you, understand your situation, and choose someone who we feel would genuinely benefit from having this burden lifted.

🇺🇸 U.S. military veterans
📍 Must live within the Simply Spotless service area
🏠 Cleaning must be for your primary residence
✨ Recipient will receive up to 6 hours of complimentary cleaning

✨ MEET THE OWNER BEHIND SIMPLY SPOTLESS! ✨

Hi, I’m Alyssa DeVries, the owner and person behind Simply Spotless LLC! 🩷

I thought it was time to step out from behind the business and let you get to know the person who is really behind Simply Spotless.

A little backstory… 👇🏼

I graduated college with degrees in Accounting and Business Management and spent about three years working as an accountant. While I was grateful for the experience, I eventually realized that sitting behind a desk just wasn’t where I belonged.

And then I realized something pretty simple…

I genuinely LOVE cleaning. 😂

Cleaning was something I actually enjoyed doing in my free time. So I thought, why not turn something I love into a career?

At just 23 years old, I started Simply Spotless from the ground up. What started as me simply trying to build something of my own has grown into a cleaning company serving the Siouxland area, a team I’m incredibly proud of, and a business that means so much more to me than I ever expected. 🥹🩷

I am driven, hardworking, goal-oriented, and probably busier than I should be 😂 — but I truly give this business my all.

My biggest goal isn't just to grow Simply Spotless into a successful company. I want to build something that our clients can trust, something my team is proud to be a part of, and something that genuinely makes people's lives easier.

One of my favorite parts of this job is seeing the relief on someone's face when they walk into their freshly cleaned space. Knowing that I helped take something off their plate and gave them back a little time, peace, and breathing room is exactly why I love what I do.

And yes… I have a favorite thing to clean. 😏

KITCHENS! Specifically cabinets and countertops. There is just something SO satisfying about seeing that before-and-after. ✨

A few things about me outside of Simply Spotless:

🐶 I have one very spoiled dog named Duke
❤️ I’m married to my husband, Austin
🏕️ I love camping with my family in Yankton
🏡 I love working on projects around our house
☀️ Summer is my favorite season — I am NOT a cold-weather person 😂
🎃 Halloween and Christmas are my favorite holidays because I love decorating
🥒 My favorite go-to snack is… pickles 😂
🎬 My favorite movie is The Goonies
✈️ Greece is at the top of my travel bucket list
🏗️ My original dream career was actually architecture — which I’m very thankful I didn't pursue because I wouldn't have Simply Spotless today!

And probably the biggest thing I want you to know about me:

I care. A lot.

I care about the work we do.
I care about our clients.
I care about our team.
I care about the details.
And I care about constantly finding ways to make Simply Spotless better.

I don't expect perfection from myself, but I always expect myself to give my best. I want every client who trusts us with their home or business to feel confident that they're in good hands.

Team Member Spotlight 💗

Meet Amy, one of the friendly faces behind Simply Spotless! Amy is a proud mom of three grown children and a grandma to three grandsons. She genuinely enjoys cleaning and says it never really feels like work to her—a passion that started when she was young and her mom would compliment her on how well she did her chores. Her favorite things to clean are bathrooms, and she especially enjoys the satisfaction of vacuuming! Amy describes herself as honest, strong, funny, and outgoing, with a big heart and a personality that keeps things real. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, sports, fishing, camping, music, and her dog, Faye, and cat, River. Most importantly, Amy understands what an honor it is to be welcomed into someone’s home. She takes great pride in caring for each space with respect and hopes every client feels at ease when she’s finished. For Amy, great customer service is a reflection of who she is, and she’s grateful to know that her work is appreciated.

🧽 Cleaning Tip of the Day

One of the easiest ways to make your home feel cleaner isn’t a deep clean—it’s resetting one space each evening.

Take 10 minutes before bed to:
✨ Put dishes in the dishwasher.
✨ Wipe down the kitchen counters.
✨ Fold the blanket on the couch.
✨ Put away anything that doesn’t belong.

Waking up to a tidy home starts the day on a much calmer note, and those little resets add up throughout the week.
