Memorial Day is a difficult day for many.
Yes, it’s considered a holiday… but for countless families, it isn’t a happy one.
Memorial Day is for the service members who never made it home. The men and women who left everything behind to serve this country and paid the ultimate price.
It’s a day to remember the fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, and friends whose chairs now sit empty.
While many are enjoying cookouts and long weekends, others are visiting cemeteries, holding folded flags, and grieving people they would give anything to hug one more time.
Today is about remembrance. 🇺🇸
May we never forget the sacrifices made for the freedoms we often take for granted.
