We are in desperate need of more dog walkers! It isn't an easy volunteer job and is not suited to everyone, but we really, REALLY need more help. The goal is to get every dog that can be walked out of its kennel for at least 10 minutes every morning before the shelter opens. Walking needs to happen between 7 am and 10 am.

- 50+ dogs, 3-7 walkers available on any given day
- many are not well trained on leash and pull quite hard
- this time of year, the heat can be a problem

You have to be over 18 to be a dog-walker. You will get some training and will have long-time volunteers available for questions. The best part is how happy it makes the dogs. You only walk the dogs that you're comfortable with - no one will push you to go outside your comfort zone!!! The biggest need is for weekdays, but if you can't walk during the week, weekends need dog-walkers too! If you aren't comfortable with walking dogs, we also need kennel cleaners (totally stinky and not glamorous but absolutely essential job).

WOW shave downs just got a whole lot easier! I’ve been on the fence for a while about getting the Chilly Blade, not because I didn’t think it worked, but because I’ve always been so stuck in my own ways. Now I’m going to get like three more so that the side of my Paw Brother’s Elite table is filled with them 😆 Thank you Ryan's Pet Supplies for always having the most interesting things!
