Please join us for a short program and light refreshments as we break ground at the new Henry Jones Legacy Park. This park is more than just an infrastructure project—it is a vital investment in our heritage and a long-overdue tribute to the deep historical roots of our community. Henry Jones was a former Buffalo Soldier and dedicated night watchman who patrolled Sierra Vista’s West End for decades. A man who served in both world wars, on the homefront, and in this community, always putting service above self.

We hope you can join us to honor his legacy and the legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers who served here with resilience and excellence.

Happy Birthday, Sierra Vista!! Fry blvd sure has come a long way 😍

🎂🎉Happy 70th birthday Sierra Vista!! Wow, we sure have come a long way. This aerial photograph shows what our community looked like in 1955—just one year before we became incorporated as the town of Sierra Vista on May 26, 1956. It shows Fry Boulevard by the intersection of North Garden Avenue.

Residents are invited to join us tonight at the City Council Work Session, starting at 3 p.m. in Council Chambers at Sierra Vista City Hall, to enjoy some cake and get a commemorative 70th anniversary wooden coin.

TOBY!!! What a sweet little boy rescued from Casa Grande. 🥺 Grateful for for bringing this guy in, he really has such an angelic personality & one day he will have such great hair 😍 I know he’s going have an easy time getting adopted, he reminds me of a less barky version of Cheese. I hope to see you soon- it was a pleasure freeing you from all those tangles. 🙏🏼
