Appliance Deep Clean

Deep clean project from earlier this week was all about the fridge and oven…two spots that can quietly collect grime until you really peek inside.

✅ Fridge tip: pull the drawers and shelves out completely when cleaning. A little warm soapy water works wonders and don’t forget the grooves where those drawers slide in….they love to hide gunk.

✅ Oven tip: a simple baking soda + water paste left to sit overnight can loosen stubborn spots without all the harsh fumes. Scrape gently, wipe clean and it’ll shine again.

It’s always so satisfying to see these appliance transformations.

I don’t have any spots open right now (unless you’re a current client on my cleaning schedule), but if you’d like to get on my waitlist for future deep cleans send me a message!

The most satisfying rug to vacuum ❤️
This is patio that gets a lot of traffic + the pups love to sunbath out here. I love vacuuming this space because it’s an instant transformation.

Vacuuming do you love it or hate it?

Part 1: Back-to-School Deep Cleaning…They say eat your frog first… which basically means tackle the hardest thing first. For me, that was definitely the kitchen. I actually split it up a bit . I did all my appliances on a separate day and then came back for a full floor-to-ceiling deep clean. That meant:✅ Washing walls✅ Cleaning the tops of cupboards✅ Cleaning inside cupboards & tossing expired/unused stuff✅ Cleaning windows & sills✅ Polishing surfaces✅ Finishing with a good sweep + mopThe tops of the cupboards were the worst (seriously, stickiest dust ever 😅) … but I’ll save my special process for that for another post because it deserves its own breakdown. For now, here are a few of my deep cleaning tips if you’re starting your own back-to-school clean: Start high, end low — Begin at the ceiling/walls and work your way down, saving the floor for last. Work clockwise — Stand at the entrance of the room, turn left, and move section by section around the room. Break it into blocks — Tackle about a 4 ft. area at a time so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Floors last — Everything falls down anyway, so sweep + mop after all other cleaning is done. Now I’m curious… 👀Are you doing a deep clean now that the kids are back in school? And what’s your “frog” — the one area you’ve been putting off the most?
