okay can we have a real conversation shreveport? ๐ญone thing iโve noticed while building a business is that a lot of people genuinely donโt realize the amount of time, effort, and money that goes into providing a good service. and this isnโt me being rude or โdoing too much,โ itโs just honest. whether itโs cleaning, beauty, lashes, or any service-based businessโฆ quality takes time. good products cost money. professionalism takes effort. communication matters. showing up matters. iโve had moments that genuinely made me stop and think because sometimes people expect a luxury experience for the lowest price possible while also expecting perfection, immediate responses, flexibility, extra accommodations, etc. ๐ญ like be serious for a second. and donโt get me wrong, i completely understand budgeting because life is expensive right now. iโm not knocking that at all. but i think people also have to understand that small businesses are people too. weโre not giant corporations. a lot of us are investing our own money, learning as we go, trying to build something meaningful, and still show up with professionalism. another thing iโve noticed? some people donโt fully understand the difference between basic upkeep and an actual DEEP CLEAN ๐ญ because babyyyyโฆ some situations will humble you real quick. no judgment because life happens, people get busy, mental health exists, kids exist, work exists! but whew
i said all this to say: support small businesses if you can, respect peopleโs time, and understand that quality work is quality work for a reason. anywaysโฆ am i tripping or do other business owners in Shreveport/Louisiana feel this too? ๐
