Maintaining through stripping and waxing is a necessity on this floor. What most people do not realize is what goes into the overall maintenance of the whole lobby. If a cleaning company doesn't ask for metrics on foot traffic and building occupancy they are operating by trial and error. Yes, experience plays a factor in understanding what needs to be accomplished and how to execute. However, experience does not take the place of having all the information to understand the building usage on a daily basis. Sometimes a substandard end product comes down to a lack of understanding. If you are a property manager or owner that is not satisfied with the cleaning services you are paying for, try providing information that paints a full picture.

There are so many reasons to be using chemical dispensing stations. Have you seen a film left behind on floors, glass, or any other hard surfaces? Many times this can be fixed by ensuring the correct dilution ratio is being implemented. More importantly, many companies cut costs by watering down chemicals so they use less. Great for them, bad for the customer because their facility is actually not getting cleaned. What many companies do not realize is in the long run you actually end up saving money and actually do a better job by using a station like this. There is no human error or guessing when toping off cleaning products. A top of the line cleaning company WILL have these installed.

If you are finding this towards the back on the base of toilets, its time for a new cleaning service. Or as a customer take a peek when you are in the restroom and let management know, they will be happy you did. You can instantly tell if a company is actually doing the job they were hired to do by looking here.

Everyone knows the person on the block that has a garage that looks like this. You don’t have to go all out with matching totes, but an organized garage is a major step toward an organized home. Often times the garage and attic are where things you have some level of emotional connection with go, but don’t necessarily have a need for. As you clean out your garage pick up an item and count to 5. If you don’t have a sentimental memory come to mind throw it out!
