It could rain daily through the end of the month, Arkansas.

That does not mean it will be a washout every single day until June 1. However, we’ll have at least low rain chances daily.

There will be periods of heavier rain and storms, of course.

The good thing is the severe risk should remain fairly low in this period with just plenty of beneficial rainfall.

Below is a rainfall forecast from the WPC, notice the heavier amounts across southern Arkansas.

I think the entire state has a good opportunity to pick up rainfall in this upcoming 7 day stretch.

If you have outdoor plans through the end of the weekend, you should have a backup plan in case of rain.

I’m not asking you to cancel, but please be aware that this is a soggy pattern.

Stay in tune with the daily forecast for your region.

We need this, it will certainly help our rain deficit and drought we’re in.

Strong thunderstorms are likely tomorrow across Arkansas.

The entire state will observe at least a low risk for severe weather. This will also provide us with beneficial rainfall too.

It appears thunderstorms will enter western sections of Arkansas late morning or early afternoon.

Storms will then move east across the rest of the state through Tuesday afternoon and early evening.

If you have outdoor plans tomorrow, please understand that thunderstorms will be possible.

Some of those storms could also be strong with the potential for damaging winds and large hail.

The tornado risk appears to be very low.

The Arkansas Weather Network team will be monitoring radar for you all day and we’ll be live on all platforms if necessary.
