The main focus right now is getting those roofs and gutters taken care of before the weather changes and it becomes an emergency. We also offer roof and gutter cleaning up to 60 feet. 💬 Curious about what I actually do? Ask me anything!

For today’s post, I’d love some honest feedback from the community. Is there anything about my business or the services I offer that you’ve wondered about?

Maybe you have a project you’ve been nervous to ask about. Maybe you’ve seen my advertisements and aren’t quite sure how my construction consultation business works. Or maybe you’re wondering why someone would hire a construction consultant instead of simply calling a contractor.

Here’s a little more about what I do:

I work with vulnerable communities, including seniors and people with disabilities, who may not be able to navigate home and property projects on their own.

A lot of the time, they call me with a long list of concerns and what can feel like a bunch of scattered thoughts: “This is leaking, that needs fixing, I’m worried about this, and I don’t know who to call.”

That’s where I come in. 🏠🔨

I help put the pieces of the puzzle together, identify what needs to happen, and coordinate with contractors who are licensed, bonded, insured, and appropriate for the work.

Most projects inside a home involve more than one trade. Roofing, gutters, painting, plumbing, electrical, crawl spaces, drywall, flooring, and other repairs can quickly become overwhelming. Getting multiple estimates, comparing scopes of work, keeping track of contracts and invoices, scheduling contractors, and making sure everything gets completed can feel like a full-time job.

I created a one-stop-shop approach to help take that burden off their shoulders.

The goal is simple: you shouldn’t have to micromanage your own home project just because you need multiple professionals to get it done.

Everyone's like, why are you doing this, that and everything else... because the customers don't want to do it or can't or whatever reason... i definitely don't judge them and I have recurring customers that send me literally anything on their mind and then I get paid for making a phone call because the job got done. I dealt with all of the confirmation calls for both the company and the customer, I dealt with the billing, I made sure I was available at that specific time incase something went wrong (which it didn't).

I want to take a minute to recognize some of the people who have helped me build House Mouse Services LLC into what it is today.

I am incredibly grateful for the support I've received while figuring out what I want to do with my business and where I'm headed next.

There are a few contractors in particular who have put up with SO MUCH nonsense from me 😂 — and honestly, I wouldn't be where I am today without them.

These guys have represented House Mouse extremely well, especially when working with seniors and people with disabilities. With me stepping back to focus on school and move into the next chapter of my career, these are people I trust to step right into my place when needed.

House Mouse Services LLC offers personal assistance. I am familiar with quite a few trades, vendors and represent YOUR company when I am in the field. Well thats a first for a lot of chaos... got called up to Coyle, WA for an airbnb turnover. When I got here, the septic alarm was going off so the septic guy came. While cleaning, a realtor and potential buyers showed up. I have seen a lot of collections but not radios. The house has surround sound. The coolest chess set ever and a very beautiful view!

House Mouse Services LLC - I am the ONLY person that answers my phone, returns calls, emails, texts, etc. All of my payment forms have a definite reflection of my business. I have had it happen quite a few times where someone poses as my company and makes arrangements to do something or gives a bid or whatever else. I am definitely a female and own my company so if anyone else is out there posing as someone representing me, they are completely fraudding you. Just got my butt chewed about an estimate we were supposedly dealing with, and when I tried to explain to the lady I had nothing to do with it , she got really mad at me. 99.999% of the time, my customers do not even know who the contractor is until the contract is signed and everybody on my team is very aware of what is going on. The first instance that a contractor tries to go behind my back, they're gone. None of my contravtors do estimates on my behalf unless there is a formal meeting between me, them and the client! I have one number I use for business, 360-554-8125 unless I am contacted first and call back with my personal number. Most of the contractor contact is with my phone while I am on site with them. I physically hand them the phone to deal with a situation.

I mean it's sort of a compliment that I''m well known enough that people are trying to use my reputation. But it seems to always come back to kick them in the butt or the customers just don't get the job done because something did not work out right... my true supporters know that no guy answers my phone so I guess I just should let natural selection take charge of what jobs are getting done by someone that is not me... i might be a space case but I definitely have my ducks in a row when I have to deal with these situations..
