I CAN’T WITH THIS BIRD. 🤦‍♀️

I’m on my way to work, trying to be a responsible, functioning adult, when I get a text with THIS picture.

BERTA. IS. ON. THE. ROOF.

Ma’am. You have an entire yard. A beautiful coop. Food. Shelter. A boyfriend. And apparently, none of that is enough.

First, she’s cruising the golf course looking for men. Then she starts laying eggs. Now she’s apparently entered her chimney sweep/roofing contractor era. I just had the chimney cleaned and inspected 2 weeks ago by Hometown Chimney Sweep & Restoration. I highly recommend them, Apparently she doesn’t trust the companies judgement. 🤷‍♀️

I don’t know what she’s planning, but the fact that she’s surveying her kingdom from the rooftop tells me absolutely nothing good is coming.

I swear, this bird is one bad decision away from needing her own probation officer.

🏠 CHIMNEY REBUILD | BEFORE & AFTER

This chimney was in need of more than just a repair — it needed a complete rebuild. We tore down the existing veneer brick down to the roofline and rebuilt the chimney back to its original height, creating a strong, clean, finished look without corbels.

🔨 This project included:
• Complete demolition of the existing veneer brick down to the roofline
• Professional brick and stone repair and rebuilding
• Rebuilding the chimney to its original height
• Installation of Bowerston Barkface brick
• A custom-made rain cap designed to protect the entire top of the chimney and crown
• Relining of the flue system with stainless steel liners and components
• Installation of a new clay flue tile

From demolition to the finished rebuild, every detail was completed with the goal of restoring the chimney’s appearance while providing long-term protection and function.
