🚛 1997 Ford F-350 Dump Truck – Bringing 29-Year-Old Paint Back to Life!

Who says a work truck can't have a showroom-quality shine?

This 1997 Ford F-350 Dump Truck came into K&D Auto Spa in Shelby Township, Michigan, for a serious paint transformation. After nearly 30 years of hard work, the paint needed some attention, and we were ready for the challenge!
This wasn't your typical paint correction job. Bringing this older finish back to life required extra preparation, patience, and attention to detail.

Here's what we did:
🔧 PAINT SANDING & REFINEMENT We carefully sanded select areas of the paint to address surface imperfections and improve the overall finish. This additional step helped prepare the paint for the correction process.
✨ PROFESSIONAL PAINT CORRECTION Using professional polishing techniques, we worked to remove oxidation, reduce scratches, and restore clarity, depth, and gloss to the aging paint.
💎 CERAMIC COATING Once the paint was properly corrected and prepared, we applied a professional ceramic coating to enhance the shine and provide a protective layer against dirt, UV exposure, and environmental contaminants.

The ceramic coating also creates a hydrophobic surface, making this hardworking truck easier to wash and maintain.

THE RESULTS?

A nearly 30-year-old Ford F-350 with a dramatically improved finish that proves age doesn't always determine how good a vehicle can look!

At K&D Auto Spa, we don't just work on brand-new Corvettes, Porsches, and luxury vehicles.

We also love bringing older vehicles back to life!

Whether it's a classic truck, work truck, daily driver, or weekend cruiser, professional paint correction can make an incredible difference.

🏎️ 2026 Porsche 911 Convertible – Performance Meets Protection!

A Porsche 911 is built to be driven, enjoyed, and admired. But keeping that beautiful finish looking its best takes more than an occasional wash.

This stunning 2026 Porsche 911 Convertible came into K&D Auto Spa in Shelby Township, Michigan, for a complete paint correction and protection package.

Here's what we did:

✨ PAINT CORRECTION Even brand-new vehicles can have swirl marks and paint imperfections. We carefully refined the finish to enhance clarity, depth, and gloss before applying protection.
🛡️ PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF) We installed PPF to help protect vulnerable areas against rock chips, road debris, bug damage, and everyday driving hazards. The film provides a nearly invisible layer of protection without changing the Porsche's appearance.
💎 CERAMIC COATING Our professional ceramic coating adds incredible gloss, hydrophobic properties, and long-lasting protection against environmental contaminants. It also makes washing and maintaining this Porsche much easier.

WHY COMBINE PPF & CERAMIC COATING?
PPF protects against physical impacts, while ceramic coating helps protect the finish from environmental exposure and makes maintenance easier.

Together, they provide a great combination of protection and appearance.

At K&D Auto Spa, we believe proper preparation is just as important as the products we install. Every vehicle receives the attention to detail it deserves.
Whether you drive a Porsche, Corvette, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or your daily driver, we'll help you choose the right protection for your vehicle.

🚗 Looking for Porsche PPF, ceramic coating, or professional paint correction in Metro Detroit?
We proudly serve Shelby Township, Rochester Hills, Macomb, Sterling Heights, Washington Township, and surrounding Michigan communities.

🔑 WE JUST DRAGGED A SHARP KEY ACROSS THE PAINT… 😳

Sounds crazy, right?

There’s Paint Protection Film (PPF) between that key and the paint.
In this video, we scratch directly across the PPF with a key, then lift the film to reveal the paint underneath.

➡️ NO SCRATCHES. NO MARKS.
The PPF took the abuse so the paint didn't have to.
🛡️Now think about what your vehicle encounters every day — rocks, gravel, road debris, bugs, and everything else being thrown at the front end at highway speeds.
If quality PPF can take abuse from a sharp key and leave the paint underneath untouched, imagine why we recommend it for protecting high-impact areas from everyday road hazards.

⚠️ PPF isn't indestructible, but it's a sacrificial layer designed to take damage instead of your paint.

That's the whole point.
Damage the film. Not the factory paint. 💪

😳 FROM SCRATCHED & SWIRLED TO THIS…

This 2020 Chevy Silverado came into K&D Auto Spa with years of scratches, swirl marks, and imperfections taking away from the finish.

Instead of simply covering it up, we went after the problem properly. 👊

✨ Paint Correction — removing and reducing years of scratches and swirls to restore clarity, depth, and gloss
💎 Ceramic Coating — locking in that freshly corrected finish while adding long-term protection, slickness, and easier maintenance
🛡️ Hood PPF — adding Paint Protection Film to one of the highest-impact areas to help defend against rock chips and road debris
The difference is HUGE. 🔥

And this is exactly why paint correction before ceramic coating matters. Ceramic coating doesn't magically remove scratches — the paint needs to be properly corrected first if you want results like this.

Think your truck's paint is too far gone? You might be surprised by what we can bring back.
