A Message of Appreciation from Lead Technician Jeffrey
With September 2nd coming up in just a few days, J and J Auto Sales and Service LLC will officially be celebrating our one-year anniversary. Looking back over this first year, I wanted to take a moment to say something that probably doesn’t get said enough.
I want to give a very special thank you to my father-in-law, Joe, and my mother-in-law, Debbie, for everything they have done to make J and J Auto Sales and Service LLC possible.
Opening and building this business has taken a tremendous amount of sacrifice, long hours, stress, hard work, and determination. There have been plenty of challenges along the way, and there will undoubtedly be more, but seeing how far we’ve come in our first year and what we are continuing to build together makes all of it worth it.
I especially want to recognize Joe. With 30+ years of experience owning and operating his construction business, he brought decades of knowledge, work ethic, business experience, and determination into making J and J Auto Sales and Service a reality.
One thing I really want people to know is that the sales side of J and J Auto was originally Joe’s idea. His vision was to pair a quality used-car sales operation with the service and repair side of the business, giving us the ability to not only sell vehicles but also have the knowledge, equipment, and experience to properly inspect, service, and stand behind what we’re selling.
Over this first year, Joe has done an incredible job building the sales side of the business. Watching that part of his original idea grow and become a real part of what we do has been awesome to see. His experience running a business for more than 30 years has played a huge role in getting us where we are today.
Starting something like this takes a huge commitment and a willingness to take risks. Without Joe having the original vision, believing in what we could build together, and helping make it happen, I can truly say that none of this would have been possible.
I also want to give Debbie the recognition she deserves. A lot of what she does happens behind the scenes, and customers may never see just how important her role really is. From helping keep things organized, supporting the business and our family, and dealing with the countless little things that come with running a business, her contribution is a huge part of what keeps everything moving. Those behind-the-scenes sacrifices don’t always get noticed, but they are absolutely appreciated.
And to all of our customers — thank you.
When we say J and J Auto Sales and Service is family owned and operated, we truly mean it. We aren’t a corporation or a chain. We are a local family working together, making sacrifices together, dealing with the stressful days together, and trying to build something we can all be proud of.
Every vehicle you bring through our doors, every vehicle you purchase from us, every recommendation to a friend or family member, every review, every Facebook share, and every time you choose to support our business means more to us than you probably realize.
Reaching our first full year in business on September 2nd is something we’re extremely proud of, but we also know we couldn’t have reached this milestone without the people who have supported us along the way.
There is still a long road ahead, and building a successful business doesn’t happen overnight. But I am extremely thankful for the opportunity I’ve been given to do what I love, serve our customers, and be part of building something that hopefully our family can be proud of for many years to come.
Joe and Debbie, thank you for believing in this business, for everything you’ve sacrificed, and for giving me the opportunity to be a part of it.
And to our customers, thank you for trusting our family — whether it’s purchasing your next vehicle or trusting us to service and repair the one you already own. We wouldn’t be here without you.
Here’s to one year — and hopefully many more to come.
