About a month ago I had a gentleman by the name of Richard Urie came through and used the car wash. Ol Richard, who keep in mind is probably 80ish, pulls into the middle bay, realizes he doesn’t have enough quarters and has to use his card. I watched him turn the k**b to spot free rinse (low pressure end of wash cycle) and slowly walk around his silver Jeep liberty lightly spraying it. He clearly wasn’t squeezing the handle. He gets 3/4 of the way around his car and gets mad, throws the wand against the wall like a 3 year old having a temper tantrum. He then gets in his vehicle, circles around to get my number and calls me.
Richard, who is obviously pi**ed off, proceeds to go off about my car wash charging him $10. I can tell he is mad and I try and explain to him that it was a pre-authorization charge and in a day or two it will only charge what he used. Richard advised me that he’s never heard of that in his life and told me in a very polite way he was never coming back. Before I could get a word out he hung up. I tried to call him back but he did not answer. So I sent him a text explaining when he was ready to talk like adults to please call me back.
The sheriffs department has been requested to notify Mr. Urie he is to never to return to this property again or he would be arrested.
If anyone is unsure how the car wash operates or if it screws up please let me know. I have had a few instances where machines took money or didn’t work and I will gladly check it out and make it right. But what I will NOT tolerate is an 80 year old man having a temper tantrum and treating my property like that. If you’re upset about something just call me and we can chat like adults.
