Be careful when planting bushes and trees around your on-site sewage systems. It may be very tempting to hide those green lids, but roots can get into your pump and septic tanks. Those roots could end up costing you some money to have removed. If you want to landscape around your tanks, choose plants that are non-invasive and are not deep rooting. Please also remember to keep your tanks accessible for maintenance and repairs. Your service technicians will thank you.
