Cosmetic repair on a small oil boiler chimney that would not properly draft… heavy condensation would pour out of vent pipe in basement… most likely due to freezing temperatures collecting in that bare chimney block up top and creating almost a frozen plug….. … chimney went skinny in attic and required an ovalized 316ti stainless Steel chimney liner kit… patch up cosmetic spots and white Acrylic sealer and flash sealed base of chimney at roof line……

316ti Stainless Steel chimney liner kit installed for new boiler being installed by Rockhill Plumbing & Heating….on to the next… going to rain tomorrow and Friday…. Maybe I will go fishing….🎣🎣⛴️⛴️… fish don’t seem to mind the rain…⛈️

It’s always the ones you think are going to be easy that put up the most fight…… oh well… Justin has it under control….. almost crazy season…. I like it way better when it’s just steady……steel thimble came 4 or 5 inches into base of chimney and liner was hitting the top so they had to knock it back out thru basement to allow enough space in base for T assembly

This is a relative of one of our good customers who had a serious dilemma…. The chimney was shot… she didn’t have the money to rebuild or to tear down and have house sided roof ,facia and soffit fixed…. The chimney was no longer in use… boiler and water heater were power vented so we did what she could afford…. Since it’s not a functioning chimney we patched it up the best we could and capped off the top with a slate piece….. she was elderly and worried every night the chimney was going to fall…… white acrylic sealer so it would last… now it’s just a masonry structure and it didn’t take away her life savings….

Removed bad block from boiler chimney.. replaced with concrete block concrete collar,,316ti stainless steel chimney liner kit.. blended in stucco and white acrylic sealer… good to go for winter….

Good morning.. we’re back from vacation… I have received quite a few calls from homeowners that have been solicited over the phone or had companies knock on their door for chimney service….. IF WE HAVE SERVICED YOUR CHIMNEY OVER THE LAST 21 years please share this post….. IT COULD SAVE A FAMILY MEMBER FROM BEING RIPPED OFF OR SERIOUSLY INJURED BY SHODDY CHIMNEY REPAIRS….. there is so many scammer companies popping up in our area it’s ridiculous… don’t get me wrong there are some legitimate honest companies but unfortunately there are more bad ones….. if you think 3 grown men with families are going to come and sweep and inspect your chimney for 59 dollars you have to re think that… its a ploy to get their foot in the door…. And no company that opened 3 weeks ago has 167 5 star reviews from the same day…. It just doesn’t happen… it’s unfortunate I have to make this post but some people color outside the lines and drift out of their lane.. they don’t have the reach the resources,experience or compassion for our Lackawanna and Luzerne county community… again please share this.. you may save someone’s life or at least their bank account….. you don’t have to hire us….
