The most expensive vehicle we worked on this week still had to fit the service.

A 2023 Lincoln Navigator Black Label received an Ultimate Exterior Detail, but not because it carried a luxury badge. The recommendation came after evaluating the vehicle's condition and discussing the owner's expectations for the finish and ongoing care.
It is easy to assume that more expensive vehicles automatically need the highest level of service. In reality, service selection should be based on what the vehicle needs and what the owner wants to achieve.
That matters because the goal is not to match a package to a vehicle's value. The goal is to match the scope of work to the condition being addressed.
Before any recommendation is made, we document condition, review findings, and determine which service best aligns with the desired outcome. Sometimes that means a higher-level service. Sometimes it doesn't.

The badge on the hood doesn't determine the recommendation.
The condition and objectives do.

One of my favorite sounds this time of year is hearing neighbors talk to each other outside.

Not because they're saying anything important.

Just because it means nobody's in too much of a hurry to go back inside yet.

The wheel cleaner worked, but not completely.

Some contamination required additional methods.

This 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie arrived with substantial brake dust buildup embedded into the wheel finish.
After the initial cleaning stage, some contamination remained bonded to the surface because it had accumulated over time.
Additional decontamination methods were then used to safely improve the wheel condition without unnecessarily escalating the process beyond what the wheels required.

This is why wheel cleaning is not always a single-step service.
Some brake dust sits on the surface. Some becomes bonded into the finish and requires a more measured approach to improve safely and consistently.

The goal was not perfection.
The goal was meaningful improvement while respecting the condition of the wheel finish.

There wasn’t much to correct.

That was the success story.

Some of the best maintenance appointments are the quiet ones—the vehicles that return needing only light cleaning, minor refinement, and routine upkeep because their condition has remained stable over time.
That consistency is not accidental.
It comes from regular maintenance, realistic care habits, and addressing issues before they become larger correction problems.
For long-term clients, this creates a very different ownership experience. The vehicle stays consistently well kept instead of cycling between deterioration and major restoration work.
The goal of maintenance is not dramatic transformation every visit.
The goal is preserving condition so less intervention is needed over time.

Most of the paint only needed refinement.

A few areas required a different approach.

This 2020 Ram 1500 Big Horn arrived in very good overall condition with light scratching across most panels, along with a few isolated areas showing more noticeable defects and light oxidation.
During correction, the approach was adjusted based on the condition of each section of the vehicle.
Some panels responded well to lighter refinement methods. Other areas required more focused correction to improve deeper defects while remaining within the selected service scope.

This is why paint correction is not a one-size-fits-all process.

The goal is not to apply maximum correction everywhere.
The goal is to create the best overall improvement by matching the process to the actual condition of the paint.

The work does not end when you drive away.

It becomes part of the vehicle’s history.
Every completed detailing and maintenance service at Hanson’s is reported to CARFAX.
That means the care your vehicle receives becomes part of a documented ownership record over time.
For stewardship clients and long-term owners, this creates an added layer of transparency and continuity. The maintenance history is not limited to receipts or memory alone.

The goal is not to make promises about resale value.
The goal is to preserve a visible record of consistent professional care throughout ownership.

It was a show car, but the defects weren’t uniform.

One correction method was not the right answer everywhere.
This 1999 Plymouth Prowler arrived with light to moderate scratching throughout the paint along with oxidation on the exposed aluminum chassis.
Before proceeding with correction, we performed multiple test spots to evaluate which methods produced the best improvement within the agreed service scope.
Some sections responded well to lighter refinement. Others required a different approach to improve clarity while remaining mindful of the vehicle’s condition and intended use.

For returning clients, these decisions become more precise over time because we better understand both the vehicle and the owner’s expectations.
The goal was not to chase perfection panel-by-panel.
The goal was to achieve the best overall improvement through measured correction decisions.

It had been several months, and it still didn’t need much.

That is what the right maintenance schedule should accomplish.
One of our returning clients brought in a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE after several months. The interior showed only light soiling, and the exterior remained in very good condition.

Because the vehicle is cared for consistently, our recommendation is based on how it actually presents—not on an arbitrary six-month interval.
Some vehicles need attention more often. Others maintain their condition for longer periods.

The goal is to keep the vehicle at the owner’s desired standard with the right amount of care, at the right time.
The best maintenance schedule is the one that fits the vehicle and the person who owns it.

The work does not end when you drive away.

It becomes part of your vehicle’s history.
Every completed service at Hanson’s is reported to CARFAX.
That means your detailing and maintenance visits become part of a documented ownership record that stays with the vehicle over time.
For many clients, this provides an added level of confidence. The care your vehicle receives is not only performed professionally—it is recorded in a place future owners and buyers may also see.
This creates a clear history of consistent maintenance and appearance care.

The goal is not to make claims about resale value.
The goal is to ensure the work performed today becomes part of your vehicle’s documented story.

You may request a specific service.

We first confirm that your vehicle will benefit from it.
Some clients know exactly what they want, whether that is smoother paint, additional decontamination, or a specific maintenance step.
Before any add-on is performed, we inspect the vehicle to verify that the condition supports the service being requested.
This helps ensure you are paying for work that is appropriate for your vehicle—not simply adding services because they were selected.

For returning clients, this process becomes even more precise as we better understand what matters most to them.
The goal is to align your preferences with what the vehicle actually needs.
That way, the work is both justified by condition and meaningful to you.
