🌟 Reflections from a Cleaning Day🌟
This week, our cleaning team performed a deep cleaning service at a property. Everything was going well until we reached the kitchen, where we were surprised by the darkness of the evening, as it was around 6:30 PM.
While cleaning the refrigerator, we noticed some rust spots. With the best intentions, the team tried to scrub it with a sponge, but they didn’t realize that while they removed the rust, they also scratched the metal door. They finished the service and left without noticing the damage.
The next day, the client sent us a photo of the problem. At that moment, I was filled with concern. I didn’t know how to fix it, and the options that came to mind were to replace the door or even the entire refrigerator. Additionally, we had the pressure of the new tenant arriving on Friday, so we needed to find a solution as quickly as possible.
I promised the client we would find a solution. After researching on Amazon and YouTube, we found two options: one that seemed to be a solution for the metal but turned out to be a metal adhesive, and the second was a treatment specifically for removing scratches from stainless steel sinks. We decided to take a chance with the second option, and thankfully, it worked perfectly! We ordered the material, which arrived overnight, so we decided to tackle it as soon as possible to solve the problem.
This experience leaves us with a valuable lesson: when cleaning refrigerators, it's essential to use only a microfiber cloth and polish them carefully. Although the intention was good, sometimes we forget the basics in the process.
I’ve spoken with the team about this, and we are committed to preventing it from happening again. Learning from our mistakes is part of our growth.
Below, I’m sharing a video with the instructions for the treatment we used and the process and the before and after pictures. Thank you for your understanding and support!
