🪴OVEN CLEANING🪴

Wow! That’s a job to get it back brand new or as close as you can! I’ve literally worked four hours on this oven.
I use to use oven cleaner but then it would leave a film and just never looked clean. Then something spilled and that stuff was like burned concrete.
I used dawn dish soap and a lot of scrubbing to get it all as clean as possible…….
Then I had to heat it back up to 200 and try to remove the stubborn stain and then a razor blade to remove the rest! Whew! I’m exhausted!
But……ITS CLEAN! Top one is tomorrow…….

Finish with vinegar spray or windex to shine! ✨

Let’s clean this oven back to brand new……there are some stains that are set into the enamel so part 2 will hopefully show them gone! Be back in four hours……..

Lesley Estes serves the Corpus Christi and Kingsville areas through The Well Kept Home, offering traditional, thoughtful home cleaning with care and attention to detail.

For most of her life, Lesley was a stay-at-home mom raising her children, and building a home centered around family, faith, and community. When life brought unexpected loss and difficult marriage trials, she found herself starting over while still raising her children and rebuilding her future.

After losing her husband, Lesley became a widow navigating deep grief while still caring for her family. There was a season when she barely went upstairs in her own home for over two years. Mail went unopened for a year or more, and laundry piled up as she focused simply on surviving each day. She knows firsthand what it feels like to lose someone — and to feel like you’ve lost yourself for a time, too.

Those experiences changed the way she sees home — not just as a place to live, but as a space that can bring peace, stability, and comfort during hard seasons.

Today, Lesley helps families reset, refresh, and care for their homes with respect and without judgment. From deep cleaning and resets to routine tidying, her goal is simple: to help homes feel lighter, calmer, and well cared for.

About Lesley White

Lesley White serves the Houston and surrounding areas through The Well Kept Home, specializing in non-toxic, low-toxin home cleaning.

In 2017, Lesley’s daughter Kaylyn was diagnosed with leukemia, beginning a long journey filled with both heartbreak and hope. While Kaylyn is now in remission, the lasting effects of treatment continue to shape their family’s daily life. During those years, Lesley was a stay-at-home mom to her two children, and caring for Kaylyn became her whole world. That experience led her to learn deeply about essential oils, non-toxic living, and creating healthier home environments.

In the midst of those challenges, Lesley also faced the loss of her marriage due to her husband’s criminal choices, stepping into a new season of providing for their children on her own. What once looked like MOPS meetings, school schedules, and date nights became a life of resilience, independence, and rebuilding.

Today, Lesley brings that same care and intentionality into every home she serves — helping families create clean, safe spaces that support healing, stability, and peace. The Well Kept Home was created from a shared belief between two women named Lesley — that a clean, tidy home can bring peace, clarity, and support to mental health, especially during hard seasons of life.

What makes us different is our heart. We are both adoptive mothers, survivors of personal trauma, and women who had to start again while still raising our children after being stay-at-home moms for most of our lives. We understand that behind many homes are real stories, and we approach each space with compassion, care, and respect.

We provide professional home cleaning services as our foundation — from deep cleans and full resets to routine cleaning and simple tidying. For those who want extra support, we also offer organizing and light staging/styling, using the items you already own to help your home feel calm, functional, and cared for.

Whether you’re overwhelmed, starting fresh, preparing your home, or simply need help maintaining order, we meet your home where it is — without judgment and without pressure.
